Nearly 1,000 graduate workers, students and faculty with workers and community supporters rallied in response to NYU Pres. Sexton’s ultimatum to return to work by Dec 5 or be fired. Graduate teaching and research assistants have been on strike since Nov 9.

The National Labor Relations Board has charged 15 Starbucks officials with an extensive array of anti-union acts.

The multi-count complaint comes after an independent investigation of the world’s largest coffee chain triggered by charges from the IWW Starbucks Workers Union.
