Our elected officials need to hear from you. The state legislature will be making decisions regarding funding for our wages and benefits, and the services we provide the public. They will be debating out-of-control health care costs, privatization, and PERS.

Your voice is important. You have a unique perspective about the services you provide. Managers are in the Capitol all day long, but front-line workers need to be heard as well.

Your union provides the training, materials, and support to make sure that the politicians who will be voting on your budgets, your health care, and your wages hear from you.

Whether you are concerned about long-term care, higher education, the state contract, health care, or other worksite issues, we want your involvement. You will work with SEIU staff to talk to legislators, watch the legislature in action, and weigh in on issues important to you.
