Documentary and Editorial PhotographyPhotos reflect the point of view and purpose of the photographer. Visual statements can be subtle or strong; it is almost impossible to have a neutral image. There is no such thing as “objective” journalism. My images reflect a strong and positive trust in people, an interest in the broad spectrum of activities that is humanity. Many have a pro-active or political orientation. Gallery Newspaper RestorationI have painstaking restored the front page of the April 6, 1912 edition of Appeal to Reason, which features an article by Eugene V. Debs. I am currently working on a tribute in the New York Times to Franklin D. Roosevelt, April 15, 1945. Restoration is created from scans of the actual paper. Digital and print copies are available for sale; special consideration for educational groups. FreelanceThe banner image above is a slice of Balkan Adventure, a panorama of photos taken in Eastern Europe. The actual image is approximately 8' wide by 18 inches high. I also create slide shows and videos. |
